A mixed tag match furthering one of WWE's hottest feuds has been officially added to the card.
WWE has seriously amped up the frequency with which it holds big shows overseas, possibly building to a WrestleMania sometime in the next few years. Between those shows selling out almost immediately and then the atmosphere brought by that sell-out crowd, despite the time difference challenges, it's easy to see why WWE is keen to hold more and more premium live events in Europe with each passing year. Next, it heads to Germany for the first-ever Bash In Berlin.
When Is WWE Bash In Berlin 2024?
WWE's trip to Germany will bring the curtain down on what has been a huge summer for the company. It started with a raucous crowd in France for Backlash, and it will end with an equally raucous one in Berlin on August 31, 2024. Fans in the US will need to note that Bash In Berlin will take place in the middle of the day due to the time difference. The main card will begin at 7 pm local time, so 1 pm EST. Another Saturday afternoon show in North America, but another show that doesn't require staying up all night for fans in the UK and Europe.

How Can I Watch WWE Bash In Berlin 2024?
If you're lucky enough to be living nearby, there still appear to be tickets available for Bash In Berlin at the time of typing this. Unlikely that will be the case for long, but for the rest of us, the usual ways to watch WWE PLEs remain the same for a few more months. Fans in the US with a Peaco*ck subscription can watch live or via replays after the event is over for no additional cost. Everyone else can watch through the old WWE Network, or on whichever platform carries it where you are in the world.

Where Is WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 Taking Place?
It's not often that the name of a WWE PLE gives away where exactly it takes place, but Bash In Berlin is a rare exception. Bash In Berlin will indeed be taking place in Berlin, Germany's capital city. This will be the first time a WWE PLE has ever taken place in Germany, following in the footsteps of Backlash in France and Clash at the Castle, first in Wales and then Scotland. There are rumors Italy will join the European PLE club in 2025.
Gunther vs. Randy Orton For The WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Gunther became a World Champion at SummerSlam which means he goes into Bash In Berlin as champion. No, not his home country, but he hails from the neighboring Austria which likely means a lot of his family and friends will be in attendance. Gunther's first-ever World Title defense will be against Randy Orton.
Gunther earned his World Title shot by beating Orton in the King of the Ring final. However, footage after the match showed one of Orton's shoulders wasn't down. Wanting to be an honorable champion, and remove the asterisk from his reign, Gunther has given Orton the title shot he deserves. He'll have nothing to worry about either barring a huge upset. Gunther wins here.
Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens For The WWE Undisputed Championship
Cody Rhodes opened the SmackDown after SummerSlam by beginning the search for his next title challenger. Turns out he already had someone in mind - Kevin Owens. Owens has been helping Rhodes fight off The Bloodline for months, and now the group has some serious in-fighting to deal with, Rhodes wants to reward KO with a shot at becoming WWE Champion.
Owens declined at first, but then Nick Aldis noted he was considering Roman Reigns for the spot. That's when KO went off and made sure he's the one challenging for the title in Berlin. Now he doesn't have The Bloodline to deal with, this feels like the start of a Rhodes world tour where he shows how good he is against various opponents, starting with a win against KO.
Dominik Mysterio And Liv Morgan vs. Damian Priest And Rhea Ripley
Dominik Mysterio did exactly what he expected us to do at SummerSlam when he betrayed Rhea Ripley, but that didn't make it any less shocking. He and Liv Morgan need to pay, and Ripley has Priest's backing in her quest to achieve that. A mixed tag match that will almost certainly not disappoint at Bash In Berlin.
I'm torn over what will happen in this match as it ultimately depends on how long WWE intends on drawing this out. Mysterio and Morgan's pairing stinks of one that won't last long, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose here and the cracks already begin to show.
