As many of you know, I serve on the board for RMA Children's Foundation, a women run non-profit that raises funds for disadvantaged youth. As the back-to-school season approaches, we are on a mission to ensure that Denver Public School students starts the year with confidence and enthusiasm. You can be a crucial part of this journey by making a monetary donation to our 'Back-to-School Drive'!I set a goal to raise $500 towards our back to school drive this year. Your generous donations will directly fund brand-new backpacks and essential school supplies for these young minds. How you can make a difference:1) Monetary Donations: Your financial support will be used to fill backpacks (donated by the Bank of Colorado) with school supplies, ensuring that each child is equipped for success from day one. You can make a donation here: https://lnkd.in/gFkpJH_62) Denver Friends - Attend our annual happy hour at Goed Zuur here in Five Points! Tickets linked here: https://lnkd.in/gbQ8gGBd3) Spread the Word: Share this post with friends, family, and colleagues who believe in the power of education and community impact. Are you ready to go back to school?Back-to-school donations are a great way to support students and schools in need. If you’re interested in making a donation, there are several options you can consider:1. School Supplies: Pens, pencils, paper, binders, sharpies, highlighters, markers, binders, rulers, backpacks, pencil cases and duo tangs are a few things that students need for school.2. Monetary Donations: Financial contributions can be valuable for schools to purchase necessary supplies or fund educational programs. You can donate directly to schools or consider supporting non-profit organizations that focus on education and provide resources to schools and students.3. Clothing and Uniforms: Some schools have dress codes or require uniforms. Donating new or gently used clothing items that meet the school’s guidelines can help students who may not have access to appropriate attire. Gifted Community Foundation has started shopping for back to school supplies for multiple schools in Red Deer, Sylvan Lake and Ponoka. Here is our first haul! #giftedcommunity #helpingthoseinneed #nonprofitorganization #schoolsupplies #donations

Thinking about ordering takeout this week? 🍔🍕 Instead of spending on takeout, consider this: the average price of a takeout meal is often around £35 – the same amount that could fund over 125 breakfasts! 🤔If you're used to getting a takeaway, why not donate that money to support @magicbreky? Skipping one takeout meal can make a positive impact. It's an easy choice 🧠 By skipping one takeaway order, you could provide nearly a whole school year with breakfast every school morning 🤯🍎 Support this fantastic cause by making a donation at 👉 https://bit.ly/3NWHSprIf donating isn't possible for you right now, no worries. You can still help by liking and sharing this post to spread the word, and we truly appreciate your support ❤️#NoChildTooHungryToLearn #1MillionBreakfast #MakingADifference #FuelForLearning

If you know me or follow any of my personal Finance tips/advice you know that I always talk about giving to worthy causes as the best way to test your 'money psychology'. If you're in a position to do so, it would mean a lot to my kids if you'd consider a donation to their elementary school by donating to their 'fun run'. Conversely, if you have a cause you'd like some support with... my wife and I make giving 'a habit' and always look for worthy causes to consider and support.https://lnkd.in/gc6VYVC5

What is your take on the latest report from #GivingUSA showing that individual donations make up 64% of total #donations? We'd love for you to add your thoughts in the comments on if your organization saw the same trend, and if it didn't, what did you do in 2022 that changed your #individualgiving? Also, if CNM could provide one resource/service to your #nonprofit to grow individual giving, what would that be?#Philanthropy #Fundraising #Grantwriting #DonorEngagement #NonprofitStrong #GrowWithCNM
